TUSCANY, PRIVATELY

There are places that reveal themselves to anyone who visits, and there are places that reveal themselves only to those who know how to ask. Tuscany reveals itself readily to most travellers. For ours, it reveals something else entirely.

A private journey through Tuscany, as we design it, is not an itinerary of places to see but a sequence of moments arranged around how you actually wish to live for a week, or a month — a morning without a schedule, an estate reached by a road no map recommends, a table set for no one else. Venice, Unmasked

For a few days each winter, Venice becomes something other than itself.

Behind the masks and elaborate costumes, the city slips between centuries. Palazzi glow after dark. Candlelit rooms fill with music. Figures appear beneath the arcades and disappear again into the labyrinth of canals.

Few realise that the true limousine boats of Venice number only a handful — vessels of hand-polished mahogany and brass, built by artisan yards that no longer exist, maintained by families who have cared for them across generations. We do not book these boats. We know them, and the custodians who guard their use.

Access is not for sale. It is extended — through relationships cultivated over more than a decade of returning to Venice, of proving ourselves worthy of the introduction.
