Thought I’d share a few behind-the-scenes pictures for a change…
Things certainly don’t always run smoothly. Resin printing can be a rather unforgiving business, and sometimes a print that has taken 20 hours — and quite a lot of resin — ends up looking like this.
Failed prints, warped parts, damaged sections, supports everywhere… and occasionally the same part has to be printed two, three or even four times before I get one I’m happy with.
Not quite as glamorous as the finished models you usually see here, but very much part of the process!
And yes… that is a rather impressive amount of scrap resin. 😄
