Syncrophone was born in 2005 within Cyber Production by the team of Didier Allyne, John Sill and Blaise. In 2007, Syncrophone detached from Cyber Production and started to develop independently, with the opening of the vinyl shop. For 10 years, the three sides of Syncrophone made one autonomous entity which became one of the most emblematic figures of the French electronic scene. Always looking for new talents and contributing to the development of the artistic freedom of expression, the Syncrophone label has also its own subdivisions like For Those Who Know, Phonogramme, Nowhere and As It Is. Many artists, now recognized all over the world, such as Theo Parrish, Aubrey, Steven Tang, Dj Qu, Joey Anderson, Zadig, Birth Of Frequency and Voiski, produced on these labels. Syncrophone distributes more than sixty exclusive labels all over the world such as Adult Only, Apollonia, Bass Culture, Concrete Music, Construct Re-Form, Cracki, Desire, D.KO, Eklo Music, Ethereal Sound, Fracture, Fragil Musique, HoldYouth, Latency, Logistic, Lumières La Nuit, Manichéisme Recordings, Midi Deux, Mind Records, P&D Recordings, Patterns, Point G., Popcorn, Quartz Music, Rex Club Music, Robsoul, Rue De Plaisance, Rutilance, S3A Records, Silicate, Skylax, Society Of Silence, Thema, Unlearn, Unrelated...
Syncrophone has a multidisciplinary approach by organizing its own events, “Syncrophone Label-Night” that takes place at La Machine du Moulin Rouge, Rex Club, Batofar, and Badaboum in Paris or at L’Iboat in Bordeaux. In 2013, Syncrophone celebrated its 8th anniversary with a big event that gathered a large number of passionate people. In November 2015, Syncrophone celebrated its 10th anniversary at the Rex Club and composed a CD compilation for the occasion of their headline titles.
