I’m heartbroken for Paris and the world today. 💔😢

Paris will always have my ❤️. If I dug through old pictures, I could find pictures of my mom and I at Notre Dame during my study abroad days in France more than 10 years ago. I know I also have pictures of myself visiting when I went backpacking before starting grad school. I finally got to return with the love of my life in 2017 and Notre Dame spoke to more than any other site we saw. Paris is a city that keeps calling you back to her. I’ll be back and I know “our lady” will be rebuilt and back too. My soul is with Paris today.

Please excuse the tired eyes, but I just thought of another PRO TIP to share. This is THIRD DAY hair. Impossible, right?! Well, recently my fabulous hairdresser told me to put dry shampoo in my hair when it’s CLEAN, literally right after blow drying. I did this for the first time the other day and this is magic!! Bonus, it adds a little texture on the first day. Perfect for vacay when you don’t want to spend all morning getting ready!

Pro tip: set yourself up a little vanity in your hotel or AirBnb. It’s as simple as grabbing a small glass for make-up brushes and finding a spot. Makes it feel more like home and makes getting ready more efficient!

PS: We made it to Madrid! Took a nap and now we’re off to find food and tourist it up!

Hello all 👋! I’m Danielle and this is my husband, Ryan. I am a physician by day and travel addict at heart. My sweet husband agrees to appease my wanderlust most of the time! In my opinion, having a vacation to look forward to is the best way to fight off or “treat” 😉 any level of “funk” that every day life is handing out.
