🎤 AGL has been in Mozambique since 1985, and is ready for the restart of LNG projects.

Bertrand Fleury, Managing Director of AGL Mozambique, shared this at the Townhall "Invest in Mozambique: Unleashing Africa's Premier Gas and Upstream Exploration Frontier" at Africa Energy Week 2026.

For these projects, ports, storage, heavy-lift transport and customs need to be coordinated well before ex*****on resumes. What AGL brings:

• Experience: logistics support for major energy operators such as SLB, ENI and Total.

• Network: 27 warehouses and 40 trucks across Maputo, Beira, Nacala and Pemba

• Regional gateway: the Beira and Nacala corridors serve Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi, with more than 60,000 tonnes of fertiliser through Beira and 70,000 through Nacala in 2026

But nothing moves without people. Our first investment is in our teams: around 1,000 employees, 99% of them Mozambican, with recognised expertise in the field and a strong safety culture.

"Wherever the projects go, we will be there for the long term, safely, and with local partners."

🎤 "Africa needs integrated regional corridors, not isolated infrastructure."

That is the vision Thomas Bonnetain, Director of Oil & Gas at AGL HQ, shared at Africa Energy Week 2026 on the panel "Moving Energy to Market: Infrastructure, Transport, and Logistics as Growth Catalysts for Africa's Energy Value Chain."

A port, a rail line or a road only creates value when it is connected to the rest. That is how AGL approaches it, with 24 port concessions and two rail concessions across the continent. In Lobito, we reserved capacity on the rail corridor as we invest in the port, so that both work as one.

It also means involving logistics from the start of a project: the role of providers is changing, from transporters to strategic project partners.

🎤 David ALLIALI, Chief Commercial Officer, AGL Côte d’Ivoire, joined the roundtable “Local Content Roundtable: Aligning Policy, Capacity and Investment for Sustainable Growth” at African Energy Week 2026.

Drawing on AGL’s own experience, he explained what takes a local logistics provider from subcontractor to trusted delivery partner:

• Helping local companies reach the HSE, quality and certification standards operators require

• Building long-term partnerships that open doors and stay the course, such as Ayiman Logistics in Côte d'Ivoire, the TLS joint venture in Senegal and Balsa in South Africa

• Investing in capability ahead of demand through AGL's own training schools across 47 countries

“Local content that lasts is not participation in one contract. It is capability that earns the next one,” said David Alliali.

🏆 Big news from Cape Town!
AGL has retained the Service Provider of the Year title at Africa Energy Week 2026, first won in 2024, reflecting our growing role as a logistics backbone for Africa’s energy sector.

Since 2024, AGL has delivered on some of the continent’s most demanding projects: managing more than 600,000 tonnes of pipe as Main Logistics Contractor on the EACOP pipeline, doubling capacity at Congo Terminal in Pointe-Noire to 2.3 million containers a year by 2027, and supporting Mozambique’s Coral South offshore project to the highest HSE standards.

This performance is built on our people, the teams who help move Africa’s energy projects forward, safely and reliably, every day.
