This time, we headed to Speyside – a region in north-eastern Scotland. 🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This is where you’ll find an exceptional concentration of distilleries, and the region takes its name from the River Spey, which has played an important role in the history of the local whisky industry for centuries.

Speyside is often associated with whiskies that are delicate, fruity and elegant in character, although of course every distillery has its own unique style and story.

During our journey, we visited some of the region’s most famous distilleries. There were impressive stills, warehouses filled with casks, stories of whisky production and maturation, and above all – whisky tastings! 🥃

This time, Scotland revealed some of its incredible history, landscapes and places, with a special touch of Outlander along the way. 🏹
Our group included some true fans of the series, so we couldn’t miss a few of its iconic filming locations.

Our route included:

🏘️ Culross – the filming location for Cranesmuir
🏰 Doune Castle
🏰 Blackness Castle
📍 Edinburgh – Bakehouse Close, known to fans as Jamie’s print shop.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 We’ve been a little quiet lately… but we certainly haven’t slowed down!

Our schedule has been busy and we’ve been working at full speed! 💪🥃 Over the past few days, we’ve been exploring Scotland with another group from Poland.

We started our adventure in Edinburgh. Walking through the streets of the city, at times we really felt like explorers discovering Scotland for the first time.

But this time, it wasn’t just us sharing our knowledge. One of our guests turned out to be a true treasure trove of knowledge about Scotland! 🤩
And these are exactly the moments we love most – when travelling becomes an opportunity to exchange knowledge, have great conversations and discover new facts together.

And then it was time to hit the road… 🚐

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 And just like that, another unforgettable Scottish adventure has come to an end…

The final days of our journey were filled with some of the most breathtaking landscapes Scotland has to offer.

We have to admit that the view of Ben Nevis from Corpach was a true gift from the weather. Crystal-clear views of the UK’s highest mountain are quite rare, so we felt incredibly lucky to experience it in all its glory.

🥃 The next stop on our Scottish adventure was the charming town of Oban – often called the Gateway to the Hebrides.

Nestled between the sea and the mountains, Oban is home to one of Scotland’s oldest and most iconic distilleries – Oban Distillery, which has been producing whisky continuously since 1794.

A tour of the distillery offers a fascinating insight into the whisky-making process and the history of a place that has been crafting its distinctive single malt for over 230 years. Oban whisky is renowned for its perfect balance of maritime freshness, gentle smoke, and rich fruity character.

After the distillery tour, there’s nothing better than wandering through Oban’s charming streets and soaking up the atmosphere of this beautiful harbour town, which has something special to offer at every time of day.

🏰 Every journey through Scotland reminds us that its castles have a truly unique magic.

Together with our fantastic group, we set off to follow the footsteps of Scottish history. It was a journey back to a time when swords, courage, and loyalty to one’s clan shaped the fate of the nation.

❤️ Stirling Castle left the biggest impression on us.

Often referred to as the heart of Scottish history, it stands proudly atop an extinct volcano and for centuries guarded the main route between the Highlands and the Lowlands. It was here that Mary, Queen of Scots was crowned, and where Scottish kings and queens made decisions that shaped the country’s future.

Walking through the royal apartments and along its mighty walls, it’s impossible not to imagine what life was like hundreds of years ago.

This time, we took our guests to Blair Athol Distillery – one of Scotland’s oldest and most charming distilleries, where over 200 years of whisky-making tradition blend with the rich history and unique character of the Highlands.
