We're just back from our first big post-retirement caravan tour! 25-nights and 1750 miles, we had many highlights, memorable first-time visits and lots of weather, including a heatwave!🤣...🌞 🌧️ ☔ ⚡
The tour took us firstly to Carlisle before traveling through beautiful Wales to Betsw-y-Coed, and then to Tenby in the south. Bath for a night, in transit to Abbey Wood in London. Then on to Chichister (for Goodwoof) before heading northwards again, to Cambridge, Lincoln, and finally, Durham
Wales is just lovely, now a firm favourite of ours, and our first visit to Tenby, in the south... simply gorgeous. We'd never been to Lincoln either, what a marvelous city and cathedral, you need your walking shoes on for the steep climb up the hill!
And for the dugs, a second visit to Goodwoof, just outside Chichester. We've been to a few dog festival/events around the country...this one is the best, just a great day out, packed with activities for Murphy and Aubrey...and plenty to interest us too 🤣
