Your surroundings are always giving you clues, you just need to know where to look 🌊

Before you launch and when you’re already out, take a moment to look around.

Of course forecasts are useful, but the landscape around you will show you what’s happening right now. Moored boats, ripples on the water, clouds, and wind patterns are all little signs waiting to be noticed.

A simple trick? Just look at the boats ⛵️

Their bows (front) will usually point into the wind, giving you a quick clue about what’s happening around you 🌬️

Learning to read these little details is what helps us to paddle smarter, feel more confident, and become more connected to the water and world around us 🌍 🧘‍♂️

Nature leaves clues everywhere, you just have to slow down and observe 👀

Slow mornings are underrated, bit of you time before the grind of the day begins. 🧘‍♂️

Another busy Friday with a few deliveries to holiday rentals around the south lakes, and a visit to the in Grasmere later this afternoon. Proud to say that we’ve partnered so that their guests can experience Sup To You.

Last night, I just sat on the lake watching the sun disappear behind the fells. 🌅

No crowds.
No queues.
No rush to return the board.

This is one of the reasons we do things differently. Hire a board for 24hrs or more and the lake can be yours when everyone else has gone home.

Sunsets don’t care what time hire shops close, neither should your adventure.
