I’ve had some enquiries from customers wanting to visit Talisker Bay

Has anybody been there recently who can advise on the parking situation?

I haven’t been for years and it was possible to park by Talisker House then but I seem to recall folk posting about parking issues there in the last few years.

Ok, it’s finally happened and I’ve turned into an old person who needs to call people for help with remote control….not quite but I’ve fallen foul of Facebook and wondering if anyone else has had similar or can offer advice?

So, basically, I paid FB to boost one of my posts. Since then I’ve had a ton of emails and messenger messages from FB accusing me of some violations I don’t understand and offering me appeal through an impenetrable process. Obviously all comms come from unmanned accounts, follow the links and after completing the details I’m prompted for a password I don’t remember and a pin I don’t have , appears I have 4 different passkeys for Facebook. It none of them work and I’m unable to generate one without my password ad infinitum….ad nauseum.

I haven’t infringed anyone’s copyright, I’ve o my used my own pics, only used stock music from the FB reel list….
So my paid boost has had the opposite effect to the intended one: £50 down and all manner of restrictions and sanctions I haven’t a scooby about.
Any suggestions?

Unusual request for 2x drivers for this coming Friday 29th.

I received a call today from an American tourist who has basically lost confidence driving on the Highland roads ( a decision to be commended btw, always good to recognise one’s limits.

This gentleman requires help in returning his hire car to Arrochar on Friday 29th. He requires someone to drive his hire car to Arrochar and said driver will require a pal or colleague to shadow him there and drive him back. Or the driver can do it alone, pocket the payment and make his own way back etc…

The gentleman is aware that this is unusual and is willing to pay well.

As this is such an unusual request I figured, rather than approach different taxi/private hires individually it was prob best to put an APB on here.

To eliminate me from the equation, if any interested parties think they can help, he is staying at Redwood House until Friday and can be reached there’s
