Running a business is always a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, stressfull days and good days. You never know what's going to happen next.
On Friday whilst driving to another property clearance Our Haul Away van had a sudden unexpected issue and needed recovering at roadside, the garage mechanic diagnosed the issue this week.
Turns out the vehicle's engine was too badly damaged by debris and shrapnel from a faulty turbo which had got inside the engine. So both a replacement engine and new turbo is needed.
Sometimes the universe has plans for us which we have no control over. Some small business startups sail through to grow quickly, whilst other business startups take repeated setbacks. Ours is definitely the latter over the last 22 months in business its been 3 steps forwards and 2 steps back.
Building a brand and getting the brand name out there to the right people, when they need a service such as ours is the most difficult part (well, that and constant mechanical issues haha) . Our business branding, logo and name was legally trademarked a long time ago with the eventual vision of having multiple vehicles on the roads of Nottinghamshire assisting business, the local authority, and the public in clearing properties and premises from garages, HMO's, student accommodation, houses, emergency clearances, probate, businesses, etc.
