We do enjoy a house and garden visit here at Highland Yaks, especially if it’s a childhood dream of one of our guests.
Luckily this visit isn’t too far away and well worth it to get there 🌺🫖👑

They certainly were in full song last week enroute to an industry open day .

Thank you to all involved to make the day go seamlessly and it was brilliant to have a peek into the inner workings of the fantastic work they’re doing there with some very knowledgeable and passionate people.

It was great to be able to be a small cog in amongst a whole lot of bigger cogs for this group walking through the Lairig Ghru, last weekend - all in aid for raising money for amazing causes in Malawi.
One lad even did the walk in bare feet 😬😮🫣🦶

River Spey update/insight/Public announcement -

We went and had a look (at potentially trying to drop some paddling clients off) at Laggan (they were trying to squeeze as much out of the trip as possible and I wanted to see if we could make it work).
And it was an absolute no go for accessing the river - the Rosebay Willowherb, nettles, general weeds and green growth were rife and to add, the actual bank access into the river.

I guess it proves/secures the point (and I understand and appreciate it would be different if river levels were better) that Laggan really is/can be quite a questionable? access point 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just to confirm (if you were at all worried?) but the good weather of late has been widespread 🌞

We love what we do and we especially love helping all sorts of different groups with their trips, logistics and support needs.
It is also an added bonus getting to all of the different locations we get to 🚐👌

The Great Glen is one of our bread and butter routes throughout the summer - we love it (we don’t love the heavy traffic/ hire cars/ camper vans/ coaches….🙄😂) and nothing more we love also is helping people get from A to B.
