Ym myd adeiladu, gall fod pwysau i gadw pethau i chi’ch hun, dal ati a gwneud y gwaith.
Ar Ddiwrnod Iechyd Meddwl y Byd, mae yn ein hatgoffa nad ywgofyn am help yn arwydd o wendid. Mae cydnabod pan mae pethau’n mynd yn ormod, derbyn cymorth a helpu eraill i wneud yr un peth yn dangos cryfder go iawn.
Anaml y mae iechyd meddwl yn ymwneud ag un peth yn unig. Gall pryderon ariannol, amgylchiadau teuluol, gwaith, iechyd corfforol a phwysau eraill effeithio ar sut rydym ni’nteimlo. Weithiau, gall fod yn anodd sylweddoli faint mae’r pethau hyn yn effeithio arnom nines bod popeth yn dechrau pentyrru.
Dyna pam mae hi’n bwysig siarad, boed hynny gyda chydweithiwr, ffrind, aelod o’r teuluneu drwy The Lighthouse Charity, sy’n cynnig cymorth cyfrinachol am ddim i’r gymunedadeiladu a’u teuluoedd.
Os ydych chi’n cael trafferth, does dim rhaid i chi gadw pethau i chi’ch hun. Mae help argael, a gall un sgwrs wneud byd o wahaniaeth.

In construction, there can be a pressure to keep things to yourself, push through and get on with the job.
This World Mental Health Day, reminds us that asking for help is not a weakness. Recognising when things are getting too much, accepting support and helping others do the same takes real strength.
Mental health is rarely about one thing. Financial worries, family circumstances, grief, work, physical health and other pressures can all have an impact on how we feel. Sometimes, it can be difficult to recognise how much these things are affecting us until they start to build up.
That’s why it’s important to talk, whether that’s with a colleague, friend, family member or through The Lighthouse Charity, which offers free and confidential support to the construction community and their families.
If you’re struggling, you don’t need to keep it to yourself. Help is available, and a single conversation could make all the difference.
