🚛 Ready to launch your professional driving career? Here is exactly how to start your LGV journey: 🚛Getting behind the wheel of a truck might seem complicated, but breaking it down into these simple steps makes it highly manageable:

1️⃣ Apply for your provisional licence: You will need to complete the DVLA D2 & D4 forms, which you can easily collect from your local Post Office. Part of this involves completing an HGV driver medical exam. Don't worry—there are several specialised HGV medical providers available locally where you can get this booked and completed quickly.

2️⃣ Book and sit your theory tests: Once your provisional licence arrives, you will need to book and pass three separate theory tests: The Multiple Choice, Hazard Perception, and—if you wish to drive commercially—the CPC Case Studies (Module 2).

3️⃣ Train and pass your practical tests: Time to get out on the road! You will complete your practical training and your off-road reversing and coupling manoeuvres (Module 3a) on our dedicated yard. You will then sit your official DVSA on-road driving test (Module 3b), conducted by a DVSA examiner right from our own approved Tittensor training depot, before finishing up with your CPC Module 4 practical demonstration test.

We will guide you step by step through the process and take care of booking your practical tests at our depot, while you look after the theory side.

More great news coming out of the training yard today! Huge congratulations to Harry and Eddie for successfully passing their Class 1 (CE) tests, alongside Liam who nailed his Class 2 (C) exam.

While Harry was happy to step in front of the lens, Eddie and Liam preferred to stay out of the spotlight, and that is completely fine by us! We respect the camera shy approach, but we are just as thrilled to celebrate their achievements behind the scenes as we are to share a photo.
