This week, our very own Davis Glover captured a fantastic video in Scotland. After offloading, Davis filmed one of our vehicles heading to its delivery point.

These cabins measured at just over 3 meters wide. A huge thanks to both our drivers and planning team for getting them to site safely and on time.

Day nineteen of our “Did you know series”

Did you know we purchased our 4-acre site in Goldthorpe in 2017? It is located directly next to the Aldi Goldthorpe distribution centre.

In January 2025, we constructed a 17m high extension to the existing warehouse, enabling us to store up to 12,000 pallets across 85,000 sq ft of warehousing.

As a site, we are AA BRC accredited, offering storage, onwards deliveries (pallet network, part loads, and full loads), container offload services, and a pick & pack service.

Day 16 of our “Did you know?” series.

Did you know? Ken previously owned a Volvo F88 tractor unit with a 290 engine.

According to Steve Mallinson’s memory, Ken purchased it in the mid to late 70s from Independent Roadways Ltd in Leeds. Along with the knock out neck tandem axle low loader, the machine being moved was on behalf of Gordon Harrison Plant Hire Ltd.

A lot has changed since then, but the family aspect remains strong here at KMS Transport.
