🚧 Safety, testing & preparation at Alpha Lift 🚧

Before putting our equipment to work on site, we like to make sure everything is operating exactly as it should.
In these photos, we’re putting our 1-tonne spider crane through its paces, carrying out checks and testing its operation. Regular testing and familiarisation with our equipment is an important part of making sure we can operate safely, efficiently and confidently when we’re on a customer’s site.

At Alpha Lift, we specialise in lifting and transporting heavy, bulky and awkward items that can be difficult to move using conventional methods.

HOW DO YOU MOVE A HOT TUB? 🤔

Moving a hot tub or swim spa isn’t as simple as getting a few people together and lifting it.
They are heavy, awkward and expensive, and the wrong equipment or approach can result in damage to the hot tub, your property or, worse, someone getting injured.
That’s where Alpha Lift comes in 👍
We provide professional hot tub and swim spa relocation and removal services across much of the South East of England, using specialist lifting and moving equipment to make difficult moves safer and more controlled.

🏗️ What equipment do we use?

🚜 Tracked carrier
Used to transport heavy hot tubs and swim spas across a variety of ground conditions while helping to reduce the impact on surfaces.

🦾 Van-mounted crane
Our compact crane gives us lifting capability directly from the vehicle, making it particularly useful where we can position the van close to the job.

🏗️ 1-tonne spider crane
When access is particularly challenging, our spider crane allows us to tackle lifts that simply wouldn’t be possible using conventional methods.

🛷 Spa sled
A specialist solution for manoeuvring hot tubs through restricted access areas and helping to keep the move controlled.

🔍 Every move starts with an assessment
Before we move anything, we consider the entire route.
Gates, steps, slopes, narrow access, walls, trees, landscaping, ground conditions and overhead obstacles can all affect how a hot tub needs to be moved.
We then select the appropriate equipment and lifting method for the individual job.

The aim is always the same:
✅ Safe and controlled lifting
✅ Minimise the risk of damage
✅ Protect your property and surfaces
✅ Use the appropriate equipment
✅ Get your hot tub or swim spa where it needs to go

Whether you’re moving house, relocating your hot tub, removing an unwanted tub, buying a second-hand hot tub or need a swim spa moved, don’t leave it to chance.

📍 Serving much of the South East of England

HOT TUB DISPOSAL 🏗️

A customer contacted us about our hot tub disposal service as they had a very old hot tub which was beyond repair. The shell was damaged and causing leaks so the hot tub couldnt be used. Even if the shell wasnt damaged, to replace the parts to get the tub up and running again would have been at least £2000 and with the age of the tub, it just wasnt worth it.

We were able to get the hot tub out whole but because of the damage to the shell, the tub needed to be disposed of as it was beyond repair. So we were able to get this video! ⬆️⬆️

You may think a hot tub disposal can be a costly thing to get arranged if your hot tub was originally craned in. But if the time comes and you decide you want your hot tub removed, you won’t need to book another crane, saving you £100’s. We have the tools to cut the hot tub up so we can remove it in pieces.

SPEND A MORNING WITH US LIFTING A CUSTOMERS BRAND NEW HOT TUB INTO THEIR GARDEN

A customer contacted us as they were having a brand new hot tub delivered, but unfortunately the company only offered kerbside delivery. As the hot tub needed lifting over a brick wall, our customer needed a reputable and reliable company who could arrive at the same time as the hot tub so it could be lifted straight over, and not be left on their driveway, in the way.

Heres a video from how the morning went ⬆️⬆️

HOW WE CAN SAVE YOU £100s ON YOUR HOT TUB DISPOSAL COSTS!! 💰💰

If access isnt wide enough to get the tub out at your property, you might think a crane is the only way to remove your hot tub…
Well it isn’t 👍
We can cut your hot tub up into pieces and remove it all this way, so regardless of your access, we can take away your tub without needing to use a crane. By cutting the hot tub up, we can take the hot tub pieces through the house, down a narrow alleyway or up and down steps!
You might also be worried about the mess, and think a crane will be less hassle - we leave the area clean and tidy, so much so, you wouldn’t have thought a hot tub had been cut up there!

So if you have a hot tub that doesnt work anymore, isnt worth the repairs costs, or your tub is just no longer wanted as its costing to much to run or never getting used, get in touch with us and see how we can help!
