We're offering £45 off day boat hire from Bradford on Avon on week days in June and July.
So why not treat your family and friends to a lovely day out boating on the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal in Wiltshire.
You can cruise west through the Bath Valley to Brassknocker Basin and back, crossing magnificent Bath stone aqueducts at Avoncliff and Dundas.
Or you head east through the Wiltshire countryside to Semington and back.
Full tuition is included and our boats are pet friendly.
All our day boats are equipped with the facilities you need for a great day out, including cutlery, crockery, a kettle, 2 burner hob, fridge, sink and toilet. So you can plan a picnic afloat or stop off at a canalside pub for lunch.
There’s indoor and outdoor seating on all our day boats, so whatever the weather, you can enjoy the ever changing view.
We have 4 day boats for hire at Bradford on Avon Marina all with space for up to 10 people.
Week day hire in June and July is £140 (discount applied), £199 at weekends and bank holidays.
Hire times are from 9am until 4pm during the season.

Summer boat trips across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct
Over the summer our Little Star (Seren Fach) trip boat is running 5 skippered cruises a day across the UNESCO World Heritage Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in North Wales.
Described by Sir Walter Scott as a ‘stream in the sky’ where ‘fish swim above birds’, the aqueduct carries the Llangollen Canal 38 metres high across the Dee Valley.
Our 45-minute-long return boat trips offer the chance to cruise across this incredible feat of engineering.
You’ll experience amazing views across the Dee Valley, and hear about the history of the aqueduct as you glide slowly along.
Trips depart daily at 11am, 12 noon, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm from Canal Wharf, Trevor, Llangollen LL20 7TT.
Adult tickets are priced at £10 each, children (under 16) are £6.
Family tickets for 2 adults and 2 children are £25 each.
Purchase tickets in advance online or buy on the day, subject to availability.
Tickets within 24 hours of travel can only be booked at the boat.

Lily is a luxury 'Heritage Class' narrowboat for up to 4 people. She's available to hire from Trevor on the Llangollen Canal in North Wales. From there you can cruise across the UNESO World Heritage Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and on into the Shropshire Lake District.
Lily has two double cabins that can be configured as 2 doubles, or 1 double and 2 singles. She also has 2 shower rooms.

She's available to hire from Wootton Wawen on the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal in Warwickshire. From there you can cruise through Shakespeare country to Stratford-upon-Avon and back.

Our canal boat hire base at Trevor on the Llangollen Canal in North Wales, it’s less than 10 minutes by water to the incredible UNESCO World Heritage Status Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
Standing 38m high above the Dee Valley, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, is truly one of the wonders of the waterways. After travelling across the Aqueduct aboard one of our self-drive day boats, you can continue on to Chirk to enjoy lunch at the Poacher’s Pocket. This gentle 5-mile journey with no locks, also takes you across Chirk Aqueduct and through Whitehouse and Chirk tunnels.
Or head to the historic market town of Llangollen, nestled in the Berwyn Mountains. The journey to Llangollen takes around 2.5 hours and there are no locks.
2026 day boat hire prices from Trevor are £155 on a week day, £199 on a weekend or bank holiday.

Hire a canal boat for the day from Bunbury
You can hire our day boat 'Bella' for the day from Bunbury on the Shropshire Union Canal near Tarporley in Cheshire.
There's space for up to 10 people.
Tuition is included. If you are new to narrowboating, day hire is a great way to get to grips with the basics like steering, going through locks and mooring up.
Our day boats have a fridge, toilet, cutlery, crockery, a kettle and a hob - so you can enjoy a picnic afloat or stop off at a canalside pub along the way.
On a day out boating from Bunbury you can cruise to Nantwich and back. The journey takes you through six peaceful miles of countryside, past the canalside Barbridge Inn and across the impressive Grade II* listed Nantwich Aqueduct with panoramic views across the town. With no locks along the way, the journey to Nantwich takes around two hours.
2026 day boat hire prices from Bunbury are £99 on weekdays, £165 at the weekend or on bank holidays.
