Make music. If you cannot scavenge some instruments, you may be able to fashion your own. Drums used to be made from goats hide. Guitars, violins and other stringed instruments had a body carved from wood. You can fashion a crude but effective flute from a thin branch of a tree.

Find a safe place and make a new home. You may need to take to the trail in search of sustenance. Take the following things with you. A compass. A knife. A sleeping bag. A cigarette lighter. These can be found in abundance in abandoned roadside stations. Carry an empty bottle and fill it with clean water whenever you can. Take shelter from the cold in the evenings.
