We know it’s been a while since we posted, so I wanted to take a moment to share an update.
This quiet period has been down to a combination of things:
- Technical issues with our messaging system
- Difficult conversations and disputes over pricing
- Significant increases in waste disposal and tipping costs
Over the last few months, all of this has really impacted my ability to enjoy doing what I’ve done for 12 years — and that’s honestly quite sad to say.
People often tell us they want a reputable, reliable, and fully legal waste removal service — but as soon as they hear the price for doing things properly and legally, they suddenly become experts on costs, complain it’s “too expensive”, or stop replying entirely.
Please remember: you wouldn’t walk into a restaurant and argue over the bill once you’ve received your meal. You’re paying for a proper, compliant service — and even with all our rising costs, we work hard to keep prices as fair and affordable as possible. There have even been jobs I’ve taken on alone because I simply can’t justify bringing in extra help right now.
I don’t just “make up” prices. Disposal costs vary constantly, and even one single item can change the total price of a load completely. I’m more than happy to share copies of our invoices and receipts with anyone who’d like to see exactly what we’re paying out.
I’m aiming to get fully back up and running next week — I just ask that you keep all this in mind. This isn’t said to be difficult or unkind; I simply want people to understand where we stand.
Those who know me, or have used our services before, know exactly where I stand: I give 100% to every customer, 24/7, and I always deliver work I’m proud of.
