The latest fleet addition with the number CR76HOL. Pictured is Charles, a long standing family friend who came out of retirement to help us out 5 years ago. He has sadly gone back in to retirement when he still had 25 good working years left in him.

She will be sprayed up at half term.

Huge thank you to all those people who applied for the job. When it is put about that GenA-Z ( delete as applicable) don't want to work, I can categorically say that isn't my experience.

We gave the job to the first person to apply, as that seemed fairest. I have a list of names if we need anything else.

Since time began we have had a young person come and help clean the coaches after school. We usually have someone lined up as a successor but this time we don't.

This job suits anyone going in to y8 or Y9 and you have to be able to be here by 4pm every night.

Alsager School Service:

As you will be aware Cheshire East Council are no longer providing free home to school transport from Rodeheath to Alsager School.

We have worked hard with the school to provide an alternative paid service which will be operating in September.

This is at considerable commercial risk to us here and I must stress the decision to cancel the free bus has nothing to do with Hollinshead Coaches.

Below is a link which will allow you to book on to the coach. There are various options.

Llangollen up date! 12 more people have now booked to go on the 60s steam railway. Whilst we aren't in boat trip territory ( 4 sold out coaches), it now requires a coach and not a car!

Still plenty of time to book. The weather promises to be good, the trains on time and not replaced by a steam coach.

Llangollen Steam Railway Weekend

Most of our trips sell really well. But I think we might have overdone Llangollen with the 4 sold out boat trips.

Next Saturday, we have very few people going to Llangollen for the steam weekend. Which I know from first hand experience is a really good day out.

So the trip will definitely run even if we have to put them on an electric scooter!

So if you are interested please book on the website or phone the office.

If we get more than 25 Stacey gets a free water bottle. It won't be from lost property either. No siree.

It is a wrap. School is out. Now, either I am getting older or each summer term is getting longer!

Massive thanks to all our staff for all their hardwork. From the lads on the road, to the office staff answering the phone and the garage for keeping us mobile. Chapeau.

Each day we transport over 500 students to different educational establishments. We get very, very few incidents of negative behaviour. The vast majority are a pleasure to transport. Indeed, they are 'sound' to coin a phrase.

To the teachers and support staff who support us year after year. We wouldn't be here without you. I promise I will get the panto and Young Voices coaches done ASAP.

And finally, I won't do the lost property list this year, but I really could do with finding a home for that polar bearwe have had for 3 weeks.

The sun isn't suiting him.

I don't get out much, but I have just been to pick some children up from Congleton. While waiting the coffee van parked in front kindly offered me a free cup!

Now I drink a lot of coffee. Too much, so I know a good one when I taste it!

Joking aside, in a world where people can be mean and cruel it is good to be kind.
