Over a week has passed since our Founder & CEO, Gavin Homer, attended Multimodal Exhibition 2026, and what a fantastic event it was!

Gavin was delighted to be there both representing Atlas Logistics UK Ltd and in his role as an advisor to ATEM International. The event provided a great opportunity to reconnect with suppliers, strengthen industry relationships, and gain valuable insights into the latest trends shaping the logistics sector.

There was no doubt that Artificial Intelligence was the real buzz of the show. At Atlas Logistics UK Ltd, we are proud to already be well advanced in our adoption of AI tools, using technology to enhance our day-to-day operations and deliver even greater efficiencies for our customers.

During the event, Gavin also had the opportunity to be interviewed by MandyDeakin-Snell and IDX. The interview provided a fantastic platform to showcase the core ethos of Atlas Logistics UK Ltd, putting customer service above all else. While AI will undoubtedly continue to transform our industry, it will never replace the need for knowledgeable, experienced people who are on hand to guide and support customers through the ever-changing challenges of the logistics world.

Gavin was delighted to be presented by Rudee Bertie the People's Choice Leadership Award 2026 from Signature Global Network.

The show was a resounding success, and it was particularly pleasing to see the final day dedicated to the next generation of logistics professionals, with British International Freight Association - BIFA bringing young people to the event to highlight the incredible opportunities our industry has to offer those choosing a career in logistics and supply chain.

We are already looking forward to Multimodal 2027 and seeing just how much our industry will evolve over the next twelve months.

Our Founder & CEO, Gavin Homer, was delighted to attend the WCA ECommerce Solutions 6th Annual Conference in Barcelona from 6th to –8th June.

It was a fantastic event and a valuable opportunity to reconnect with industry peers, strengthen existing relationships, and establish new partnerships with colleagues from across the global logistics community.

eCommerce continues to be one of the fastest-growing sectors within the logistics industry, and Atlas Logistics UK Ltd is proud to play a role in its ongoing development. Providing customs, fulfilment, and final-mile solutions in the United Kingdom to clients and partners around the world presents both exciting opportunities and complex challenges.

As the sector continues to evolve and expand, eCommerce will remain a key driver of innovation and growth within global logistics. We are excited to see what the future holds and look forward to contributing to that progress.

📣 Digital ATA Carnets are coming from 1 June 2026

The UK will be among the first countries to introduce digital ATA Carnets (e-carnets), alongside the EU, Norway, and Switzerland — helping to modernise the temporary movement of goods internationally.
ATA Carnets are commonly used for:

✔️ Commercial samples
✔️ Exhibition and trade show goods
✔️ Professional equipment

The move from paper documents to a secure digital format will allow carnets to be managed electronically via mobile devices, making the process more efficient for businesses and customs intermediaries alike.
