Chester’s been brushing up on health and safety this week and passed with flying colours.

The only downside? Strict instructions to stay well away from the Easter egg deliveries… not his favourite policy. 🍫🐣

It’s been a busy run-up to the Easter bank holiday for the team, so if you do need anything moving today, please give us as much notice as possible and we’ll do our best to help.

📦 It’s back to work after the festive break and it’s been a busy start to the year at Direct Courier Solutions.

After a few too many treats over Christmas, Chester decided January was the perfect time to get his steps in, so he’s been trying his paw at warehouse operative duties. Helping with sorting and moving consignments, he’s keeping things flowing as volumes pick up.

Always keen to help the team, especially when it involves getting his walkies in! 🐾

🚛 It’s been a little while since we’ve shared what Chester’s been up to, but he’s been keeping busy!

After spending time learning the ropes in the office and on smaller deliveries, today he’s stepped things up behind the wheel of one of our Luton vans.

Our Luton vehicles are perfect for larger consignments, offering tail lifts for safe loading and unloading, and curtain-side access for easy, flexible deliveries. They’re ideal for bulky or palletised freight that needs extra space and care.

Chester’s making sure everything runs smoothly, proving once again that no delivery is too big for the team at Direct Courier Solutions. 🐾

💻 Chester isn’t just about fieldwork, this week he’s been busy behind the desk too, exploring our website www.directcouriersolutions.com and getting to grips with how easy it is to use.

For our customers, the site provides everything you need to get started, and once signed up, you’ll have access to our Smart LM portal. This allows you to book and track shipments, access PODs and invoices, and save information for ease of booking regular consignments.

A fast learner with a nose for detail, Chester’s making sure he understands the full customer journey, from booking through to delivery. 🐾

We’re delighted to introduce the newest member of the Direct Courier Solutions team, Chester.

Chester joins us with a strong background in security, having spent several years overseeing delivery drivers and ensuring no passer-by goes unnoticed. He also brings proven expertise in parcel sniff testing, where his attention to detail is second to none.

Known for his excellent time management (particularly around snack breaks), Chester is also an effective communicator, known for direct eye contact that gets results! His reliability is well established, most notably in the safe and consistent delivery of sticks.

We’re confident Chester will make a valuable contribution to the team ... as soon as he wakes up from his nap!
