Busy few days in Liverpool installing the new ferry terminal!

For a recent transport, we used two onboard cranes to load, streamlining the operations in both Malta and Port of Blyth. Supported by a great team mean, we kept on top of the lifts transporting all the equipment directly back to where it belonged. Planning leads to efficiencies, effectiveness and safety during these critical operations.

We celebrated the end of last week with our first Harlyn Seminar, a masterclass on the processes involved in planning heavy transport operations.

Set in Full Circle Brew Co, our speakers, Hamish and René, shared commercial and technical information to aid the selection of subcontractors, risks in the process, and key engineering information on how equipment is operated and how to integrate the deliverables by the client. 

Tacos, pizza, and beer, what more could you ask for?

As our projects can send us to remote locations, our priority is to get everyone who works for us and with us home at the end of the project.

Our company vehicles are equipped with automatic defibrillators to prepare us for all possible risks.

We are raising this at toolbox talks and including it in our method statements so that everyone we work with has the knowledge and access to kit that may potentially save someone's life.

From the Tyne to Blyth in a day.
 
In a recent project, Harlyn shipped a Cable Drum engine from the River Tyne to the Port of Blyth in a one day operation. Transporting the oversized cargo required, lifting, rotating on its side, loading, transporting, and rotating upright once more ready for mobilisation.
