Looking for class 1 driver to join the team.

Must be team orientated as most weeks rely on on all members pulling there weight to achieve one goal.
Job role would include:

Flatbed/coiler work which involves manual lifting of sheet and sheeting the load. This also requires securing the load properly and effectively. As steel is not the only thing to be loaded we load various items such as concrete in all forms, logs, coils, plate, sawn timber and potatoe boxes the list is endless if it fits we’ll take it.
We also have various trailers with log/timber cranes attached and used on our forestry contracts. This is off road driving and you are on your own most of the time working in darkness.

We would be seeking someone that is willing to stay out Mon-Friday and some odd occasions Saturdays run ins.
Training is given in regards to cranes and sheeting and load securing and there is always someone to ask for advise if needed.

Can only insure 25+ and minimum 2 years experience in driving a class 1. The forests can be tight and you do have to think for yourself in some situations this is where experience is needed.

We can look at new passes as we can train for the right candidate but you would be supervised by myself for minimum two weeks before going to a forestry job on your own.

Vehicles are upto date with comforts such as microwaves and fridges.

Pay will be decided on the candidates that apply and are set out differently for the individual applying with regards to qualifications and experience etc.

Class 1 driver required for small family business.
Driver will be required to rope and sheet - training will be given so prior experience not necessary.
Must be confident in load security as all our work is flatbed orientated.
Nights out are required when needed but we can accommodate a tramper if desired.
Monday to Friday based in Sutterton, Boston.
We work within the steel, farming, construction, and forestry industries so don’t be expecting shiny shoes. Our work is varied and interesting though.
New starters welcome but must have a clean licence.
For experienced drivers no more than 6 points.
