WHAT. A. WEEK. ❤️🚛
As another incredibly busy week comes to an end, I think the whole P&W team deserves a huge thank you.
It's difficult to believe how much we've managed to fit into the last seven days.
We started with a 7-person team completing a Lower Boddington to Brackley move by midday, before heading to Westbury for two more van loads into storage and then on to Whitfield to begin another move bound for Wimbledon.
That Wimbledon move eventually required a second journey for the garden and patio furniture, while elsewhere we've also completed another house move from Brackley to Northampton.
Then came one of the slightly more unusual P&W assignments...
🎵 A trip to the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London to collect and carefully transport vintage sound equipment.
Seeing a P&W van at such an iconic location was quite a moment — although having tourists gathering outside the gates trying to work out what we were doing was rather surreal! 😂
We then finished the week by completing the final stage of a customer's move from Westbury, via our temporary storage, to their new home near Sleaford in Lincolnshire.
After several stages, it was particularly rewarding to finally deliver everything to the customer's new home and hear how delighted they were with the service they'd received from P&W.
Behind all of those destinations has been an extraordinary amount of work.
Long days. Multiple crews. Multiple vans. Packing, dismantling, storage, loading, unloading and plenty of miles.
There have certainly been moments this week when we've all been tired — myself included! — but the team has worked incredibly hard and continued to look after our customers and their belongings throughout.
That's something I'm immensely grateful for.
And apparently we're not slowing down just yet... 😂
Next week begins with a two-day relocation from Kent to Kingham in Oxfordshire, followed by another local Brackley move, with several more families currently waiting for exchange and completion dates.
