EXPERIENCED DRIVERS WANTED - ASAP

Must have a minimum of 12 months delivery experience.

Job Description:

Delivering flat packed furniture, appliances, beds, mattresses, sofas, sports equipment, sanitary ware, garden furniture etc

You will be accompanied by a drivers mate.

There is some element of assembly which the relevant training will be provided by the logistics company.

Start times vary between 7-9am with an average 8hrs working day.

Loading takes place in Wakefield and deliveries take place in Yorkshire and the North West.

COMPULSORY REQUIREMENTS:
* Training - we will provide this
* DBS check
* Physically fit - 2 man lift with relevant lifting aid (trolley)
* Full UK Driving license - no more than 3 points (DRIVERS ONLY)
* Right to work in the UK 🇬🇧
* Punctual, reliable and good communication skills are essential

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
* Competitive daily rate
* 5 days regular work per week one of which will be a Saturday or Sunday
* Paid weekly from week 3 with 2 weeks in hand. This will be paid into your bank account by a bank transfer ONLY.

We have a Luton low-loader with barn doors going down to the South Coast (West Lulworth) empty to carry out a specialist collection on Wed 13/03/24.

The van will be empty going down and again empty coming back as the item will be taking up minimal space.

We’ll be heading past the following areas:

• ⁠Warrington
• ⁠Birmingham
• ⁠Gloucester
• ⁠Bristol
• ⁠Taunton
• ⁠Yeovil

We have LUTON low-loader Van going down to London - Sunday morning 22/10/21. It’s carrying a single item from York and the rest of the van is empty going down.

In the way back up to Bradford, we can divert the van for any collection coming up North and beyond.
