Madison has been visiting hop growers, and the Karma® yards are looking fantastic!

The established Karma® plants are almost ready for harvest, with picking expected to begin in just 7–12 days. Even more exciting, we're working with a brewery local to Yakima (WA) to produce a fresh hop Karma® beer for the Fresh Hop Ale Festival.

Watch this space for more details!

The first-year (baby) Karma® plants have also exceeded expectations, producing an incredible number of large cones. It's amazing to see such strong early growth, especially when compared with other first-year varieties that may not even be harvested this season.

It's another exciting milestone for our international Hop Development Programme.

Charles Faram's Flo will be presenting at the BFBi cross-sector No & Low Beverage Seminar 2026

Delivered in partnership with the BFBi (Brewing, Food & Beverage Industry Suppliers' Association) and Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers - CIBD, will bring drinks manufacturers together to explore no and low alcohol production across beer, wine, cider, spirits and the wider beverage sector.

Taking place on 14-15th October at Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough.

It will focus on the practical production challenges behind successful low- and no-alcohol product development, from alcohol control and trace measurement through to flavour retention, fermentation management, dealcoholisation, functional ingredients, process engineering and hygiene.

The programme begins with an informal networking dinner on 14th October, followed by a full day of technical presentations, discussion and supplier networking on 15th October.

The conference will open with a cross-sector panel, "No & Low Across the Drinks Sector: Trends, Challenges and Market Momentum", setting the scene for a day focused on the technical and commercial realities of producing high-quality no and low beverages.
