Volunteers step up ...

The approach to the base of Suspension Bridge Buttress is often the scene of painful tumbles in descent. The old in-situ rope having disappeared, two volunteers have stepped up to replace it with a decent static line. 🙂👍

An owl is nesting close to the first belay on Maltravers. Keep an eye on the BMC RAD at https://www.thebmc.co.uk/modules/RAD/View.aspx?id=332 or via the app for updates, but in the meantime the route is under bird-nesting restriction until the end of June. Please share to other relevant Facebook/Whatsapp groups.
Thanks

Greetings all

There is a change in access to the top of the central section of Seawalls i.e. from Featherless Biped to Nightmare. If you want to access these routes from the Downs or exit to the Downs, the gate now has a keypad requiring a combination.

Check out the combination on the BMC's RAD at
