Moving to Bath? 🚚

Bath is a beautiful place to call home, but moving into some of its properties can take a bit more planning than you might expect.

Our new blog covers six things to consider before moving, from steep hills and tricky access to parking permits and the Clean Air Zone.

Autumn is well underway, and if you’ve got a move coming up, now’s the time to get your removals booked in 🍂📦

If you’re planning to move over the next few months, get in touch with the Move On team to check availability and book your moving date.

We cover home moves across Bristol and the surrounding area, with packing, storage and furniture dismantling available too.

🍸Preparing fragile items🍸

When packing glassware, ornaments or anything delicate, start with a good layer of scrunched-up packing paper at the bottom of the box. As you pack, bring that paper up around the sides too, so everything is cushioned and protected properly.

Once the box is full, tape securely down the middle and along the sides to make sure nothing can give way when it’s lifted.

A little extra care at the packing stage helps make sure your belongings stay safe moving from one home to the next.

And if you’d rather not tackle the fragile bits yourself, our team can take care of it for you. We’ve packed plenty of glassware, artwork, ornaments and delicate items over the years, so talk to us about our fragile packing service when you book your move.

Sometimes the house sale moves faster than the rest of your plans.

If you’ve sold your home but aren’t ready to move everything into your next property, storage can bridge the gap. We can take care of the removal and store your belongings until you’re ready for them.

If your moving dates aren’t quite lining up, drop us a message to talk through your options.

Heavy furniture? Tight corners? Staircase doing absolutely no favours? 😅

That’s exactly the kind of thing our team deals with every day. We’ll bring the right kit, protect what needs protecting, and work out the safest way to get everything where it needs to be.

So while we handle the heavy lifting, you can focus on getting settled.

Moving day is busy enough without having to work out how you’re going to get larger pieces of furniture apart and back together again.

If you need it, we can take care of the dismantling and reassembly as part of your move, so you can get settled into your new home without having to tackle it yourself.

A big thank you to Rosie for taking the time to leave us this lovely review. We’re so pleased Callum and Troy were able to make the day a little easier!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Callum and Troy were amazing during the day of our move. Made the whole move hassle free and would highly recommend. All items were looked after and moved with no damage. The inclusion of dismantling and reassembling was incredibly handy! Thank you both!"

At Move On Removals & Storage, you can use the services that fit your move, rather than having to arrange everything separately.

We handle home and office removals across Bristol and the surrounding area.
