We are looking to recruit an additional 3.5T long-distance van driver for our growing team based in Brislington, Bristol, for long-distance work covering our entire UK distribution network.
Applicants must live within a 15/20 min commute of BS4 and have the ability to get themselves to our yard for a 5 am start each day.
The job covers the whole of the UK, and involves driving long distances regularly and completing 1-8 deliveries daily.
Must have experience of driving LWB vans and preferably have transport/courier driving experience. Must be over 25 for insurance purposes, preferably with a clean licence (although minor points will be considered), and have a good recent driving history.
We operate a strict no-smoking policy.
Work is mainly Mon- Fri. with very occasional weekends but will require regular nights away from home (approx 1-3 per week, hotels/food provided). Minimum salary of £35,100 + O/T with 28 days holiday, and a company pension scheme.
We are looking for someone reliable, an early starter (5 am) of smart appearance, with good communication and timekeeping skills, who is happy to organise their own workload and drive long distances, also someone flexible, not afraid of a bit of hard work, and able to follow simple instructions and procedures.
