🚛 A quick note about tachograph rules & delays

Many customers don’t realise that an accident or major traffic delay on Monday can still affect a driver’s schedule on Thursday.

Professional drivers operate under strict tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations. Driving time, working time and legally required daily and weekly rest all have to be observed.

If a driver loses several hours because of an accident, road closure or unexpected congestion, those hours cannot simply be “made up” by driving longer later in the week. The disruption can affect planned routes and legally available driving hours for several days afterwards.

We always do everything possible to keep collections and deliveries on schedule, but road safety and drivers’ hours regulations come first.

🧲 ELITE CHARIOTS CAR CARE TIPS #3 — A Tiny Upgrade Most Drivers Don’t Know About

Here’s a simple and inexpensive engine upgrade you may never have heard of — a magnetic oil drain plug.

It replaces the standard drain plug in your engine’s oil sump, but has a powerful magnet built into the end.

So what does it actually do? 👇

As engine oil circulates, extremely small ferrous metal particles caused by normal wear can end up suspended in the oil.

🧲 The magnetic plug attracts and holds ferrous particles
⚙️ Helps keep them from continuing to circulate with the oil
🔍 Lets you see what the magnet has collected at every oil change
🔧 Fits in place of your normal sump plug
💷 Usually a very inexpensive upgrade
