If you have looked at our running times and wondered what on earth is and why we are not running on Saturday then let us explain!

Norfolk Superhero is a group of some 200 plus people who each year enter into a quadrathlon to raise as much money as they can for charity.

The quadrathlon has to be entered as a team of 2 and comprises of a 1 mile swim from Gun Hill back into Overy, 4 mile kayak around the creeks, 45 mile cycle around the stunning Norfolk countryside and finishing with a 8 mile cross country run along the bank and beach to Holkham and back to Overy to finsh at the Quay.

After many years raising more than £1.34 million for charities across Norfolk, last year in partnership with the Norfolk Community Foundation, they launched the Norfolk Superhero Fund with an ambitious goal: to raise £500,000 over three years to improve the physical health, wellbeing and confidence of children in Norfolk.

Last year alone they raised more than £200,000.
