August 29 – Back in Derby with Design 44

Story 1:
The Elderly Lady’s Return
In the morning, an elderly lady bought a pair of green earrings and praised my design. Two hours later, her son called asking if the second pair she had browsed was still available, as she regretted not buying it. After a quick online payment issue, she travelled all the way back by bus three hours later—already wearing her new green earrings! She said, “Your designs are so beautiful, I just couldn’t take them off.” She happily took the second pair home.

Story 2:
The Return Customer
Another customer chose a pair of earrings for her upcoming trip to Thailand. Just 15 minutes after leaving, she returned and said, “You see me again! Your pieces are so unique that I had to pick another pair as a birthday gift for my best friend.”

August 9th — Back at Leamington for SummerFest! ☀️

So happy to be back at Leamington for another market day! With the special SummerFest theme, the whole parade was filled with such a vibrant, festive summer vibe.

It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces—my regular customers who popped by specifically to check out my latest designs and say hi! Great weather, fantastic foot traffic, and an amazing atmosphere overall. Thank you all for coming out to support my work! ✨

August 2nd — My First Market in Lichfield 🌿

Visited Lichfield for the very first time to run a market stall, and it felt absolutely wonderful! The weather was sunny with a lovely crisp breeze—the gentle, historic charm of the town really reminded me of Ely near Cambridge.

Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and it made my day to see how much people appreciated my handcrafted designs. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat and support my work! Looking forward to being back! ✨

CJ’s Covent Garden Market — July 26th 🌿

Foot traffic was a bit quiet that day, but I’m still so grateful to everyone who stopped by to look at and support my work.

Having run market stalls for 10 years now, this is just part of the journey. In the exact same spot, some days are packed with sales, while others are pretty slow. Markets depend so much on the weather, the date, and the people you happen to cross paths with.
These are all things beyond my control, but I never second-guess my designs. I believe in my creative strength and stay true to making ”one-of-a-kind“ pieces.

A slow day today just means the next market might be a hit! 😆
