Road Closed: Main Road, Colwich
Date: Tuesday 2nd June to Friday 5th June 2026
Service affected: 828, 828A

Main Road, Colwich, will be closed between 09:30am and 3:30pm each day. For the duration of the closure, the 828 and 828A services will divert as followed.

To Stafford - Normal route from Lichfield to the Shell Garage Bishton (A51), but instead of turning left onto Main Road, it will continue on the A51, Weston Bank (A518) to Blackheath Lane to serve Hydrant Way.

To Lichfield - They will operate the reverse of the above.

Bus stops missed: Dobree Close and St Michael and All Angels Church in Colwich, St Marys Abbey and Lamb & Flag P.H, Jubliee Playing Field in Little Haywood, Rockhouse Drive, Clifford Arms, Abbeyfields, Canalside Farm in Great Haywood, Church and Little Brancote in Tixal.

Service affected: 25, 26

Cannock Road will be closed between 09:30 and 14:30, for repairs/replacement of manhole frame and covers.

Service 25 and 26 will divert via Belt Road, Huntington Terrace Road and Moreton Street.

Bus Stops missed: Highfield Court High Town and John Street Chadsmoor.

Today Wednesday 27 & Thursday 28 May 2026.

Hop on the 404 Shuttle Bus Service from the layby opposite Stafford Railway Station to the Showground or the 841 (Stafford to Uttoxeter) which stops on the main road near the Showground.

Chaserider will be operating a normal service over the weekend with a Sunday service operating on Spring Bank Holiday Monday, 25 May 2026.🚌

Our services operating this Bank Holiday Monday (to a Sunday timetable):
• 25 Wolverhampton – Pendeford
• 36 Walsall – Lichfield
• 60 Cannock – Lichfield
• 74 Cannock – Stafford
• 828 Stafford – Lichfield

Minor changes to Service 25 (Wolverhampton - Pendeford)
Date: from 31 May 2026

Buses towards Wolverhampton will now serve the Market Place in Willenhall instead of The Mal following the completion of works at Willenhall Railway Station. There are minor changes to departure times from Willenhall. This means buses will operate through Willenhall via the same route in both directions.

Additionally, due to the ongoing closure of Upper Villiers Street, buses will be re-routed via Goldthorn Hill and Penn Road.

Road Closed: Eccleshall Road, Creswell Grove
Date: from Monday 11 May 2026
Service affected: 432

Creswell Grove and Eccleshall Road will be closed towards Stafford only, for up to 29 weeks.

The 432 service to Stafford, will divert via Clanford Road, The Cumbers, Seighford Road, Doxey Road and Pans Road.

We will not be serving Parkside School in the morning, but will operate the normal route in the afternoon.

Please note: the service will not stop anywhere on the diversion route.
