I have thought over and over again about how to put this into words. Sadly by mutual agreement Cardiff Container Link has entered into administration. A series of unforseen complications coupled with the current climate means that we simply couldn't hold on.

I'd like to thank every single person company follower etc that helped make the journey a very special one. What we achieved in our time was unbelievable. I write this with an extremely heavy heart as some serious blood sweat and tears went into this.

I cant put everything I want to say into words for once so again thank you all so much. Please don't believe everything you read in the papers. I am very open about the whole situation.

Unfortunately CCL has gone in to administration as of 1st May 2020 and all the staff made redundant. To all the staff and customers thank you for the support over the years.

Morning All

The rumour mill ..... so here we have it. With the huge drop in volumes and a few other reasons we sent back a few of our tractor units in order to steady the companies finances which yes aren’t the best they have been right nowz The current climate is impacting us massively as im sure it is every other transport company but we will dig in and together we will see this through. Thank you to our staff suppliers, customers and anyone else associated with the company your continued support is very much appreciated and will carry us through.

Set the Differences aside and support each other even if it’s a local competitor we all need each other right now.

Stay safe and anyone wants to know anything feel free to call me don’t believe everything you read in the papers.

Just looking over all the older posts and photos we’ve put on here and realising just how far we have come in such a short space of time. You dont realise until you really sit back and look at it. We have very supportive customers and suppliers who we have spent a lot of time building solid relationships with we couldn’t ask for better. Everyone from the ground up pulls their weight and our drivers give a very good representation of us out on the road. I could probably go on all morning but I’ll cut it short so It’s safe to say that the foundations of our company are well and truly in and we will continue to strive forward in what’s a very difficult industry.

Did someone say “Sixty Nine” .......? Two new DAF XF superspace hitting the road tomorrow. Out on their first deliveries in the morning then off for sign writing in the afternoon.

I’d say right now it’s not a good time to be a haulier regardless of what haulage sector you are in. Things are very tight all over the country but it is what it is and we have to push on. It’s not easy out there right now but despite the battles with such volatile volumes we still believe in keeping our fleet up to date ensuring reliability to our customers. 😎😎🚚💨🚚💨💨
