DEAR CUSTOMERS - (kind remainder).
We do NOT offer insurance cover on the following:
UNBOXED ELECTRONICS (TVs, Audio, Computers, Laptops, Speakers). Electronics can’t be checked by us on collection or delivery. FULLY BOXED (styrofoam,padding,shock absorbent lining) electronics are covered for the obvious external damage signs to the packaging visible on delivery and reported immediately before the vehicle departure allowing proper inspection and assesment.
PARTICLE BOARD furniture (chipboard, MDF, etc).
Due to the design instability and characteristics these type of furniture are prone to disintegrate when exposed to the vibrations and forces in transit.
ART and HIGH VALUE collectibles require to be declared for the inspection by as to assess the best methods of packaging for transport. In some cases custom designed plywood boxes or wheeled padded transport cases are necessary. We are offering the specialised transport and custom boxes/cases ON REQUEST.
MIRRORS, CRYSTALS, FIBRES, GLASS are unconditionally except from our responsibility and transported ONLY at customers 100% risk.
LIQUID OPERATED machines like pressure washers, motors, pumps, washing machines, coffee machines, engines, parts (anything normally containing any type of liquid) have to be drained COMPLETELY prior to postage and are transported at customer’s full risk.
Any damage to accompanying luggage caused by a leaking machine/container/part/ component may lead to the compensation charges.
SOFT FABRIC furniture pieces UNPACKED, (sofas, chairs, cushions, mattresses, leather, faux furnishings etc have to be properly bagged, wrapped before collection as the BLANKET SERVICE provided by us isnt sufficient for these types of furniture in our STANDARD SERVICE.
We do offer the soft fabric furniture packing on collection at the additional cost but have to be requested beforehand to make sure van arrives properly equipped.
All mentioned above pieces are transported at sole customer’s risk and responsibility.
