So, we’ve reached the end of the season and Stingray is now in its winter berth in Holyhead until March 2026. Thanks to all our great customers, many of whom have become good friends as they return to Cemaes regularly to enjoy life by the ocean. We’ve had a busy season with coastal cruises and particularly with fishing trips. It makes our day when a child lands their first fish or when someone spots their first seal, porpoise,or dolphin. We’ve had customers this summer who live many miles from the coast and they’ve told us that seeing gannets diving around the boat or wheeling high above us is something they will never forget. We’ve had a family fishing with us who described their trip as “ better than the Caribbean” (I think they must have been there in the hurricane season ….)

Great to see that the guillemots and gannets have returned to Ynys Padrig (the island of Middle Mouse). A lovely trip yesterday for a customer’s special birthday and she was thrilled to see porpoises, gannets diving and a seal swimming past the boat

The Stingray Angling Charter is one of the most popular angling charter vessels in North Wales and a great means to go fishing off Anglesey. Based in Cemaes Bay, Cemlyn, the Skerries Craig yr Lwrch are a short trip away where Dolphin, Grey Atlantic Seal, Arctic Tern and Puffin can be seen.
