Been a hot one in the workshop, 35 degrees on some days, thankfully cooling down a little now.
I’ve had an original Speed Striple for fork seals, I’ve got a GTR1400 with clutch issues, a 1975 RD250 that refuses to run on 2 cylinders, plus fork seals and an early Pan European service. Finally a KTM enduro has turned up with running problems.

Bit of a wiring weekend, firstly a totally dead BMW R1150 R with a broken/corroded wire on the main feed to the ignition. Hidden deep in the loom, chased it from the fuses forward until I found it. Then a GSXR750 with an alarm fault, also a corroded wire into the alarm fuse. Also checked the valve clearances. Other jobs this week included upgraded Reynolds primary chain on a pretty Royal Enfield, finished off the full engine rebuild, fork seals and chain and sprockets on a YZF-R125.
We also had 3 of the Oset fleet bikes go to their new owners so they had to be cleaned and gone through

Sadly that’s the end of the trials bikes.
I’ve been running the experience centre for 8 years and had literally thousands of riders through.
I’m proud of the youngsters and adults that started with me and have gone on to buy their own bikes and do well in competition. The last trial I did 3 people came over and said that it had all started at my place.
We had 2 special educational needs schools visit regularly and my old gits class in the week.
I could gripe about Triumph and the way I’ve been treated but that’s just the modern corporate world and I expected no more.
It’s been a privilege and hopefully the workshop carries on growing as I invest more time into that side of the business.

Head gasket failure confirmed😳

About to do a compression and leak down test to diagnose blown head gasket but turned it over to line up timing marks and a gob full of coolant spurted out of the plug hole🙄 Think that confirms it😂
