Gloucestershire Airport is very proud to announce that our ATC department have received the Guild of Air Traffic Control Officer (GATCO) President's Award for the team's outstanding efforts in meeting the significant challenges it has faced over the past three years.

Today, Gloucestershire Airport proudly congratulated Phil Ryan on reaching an incredible milestone—20 years of loyal service at the airport.

Over the past two decades, Phil has served as a Firefighter, Fire Service Manager, and, more recently, as a valued member of the Facilities Team. Throughout his career, his dedication, professionalism, and commitment have been a credit to him and continue to have a positive impact across the airport.

Pictured is Brad Jacklin, Head of Property, presenting Phil with a gift in recognition of this significant milestone and to thank him for his many years of dedicated service.

Congratulations, Phil, and thank you for your outstanding contribution.

Huge congratulations go to Ali Ching on gaining his Approach Procedural Unit Endorsement at Gloucestershire Airport ATC today. Ali joined us at the end of 2024 after receiving an excellent start to his ATC career as a Pseudo Pilot and then Simulator Ops Supervisor with Global ATS Limited. Ali validated in the Gloucester Tower position in September of last year and since then has successfully completed his Approach Procedural Course back at Global ATS Ltd. All of that hard work has culminated in him becoming a dual valid ATCO today. So many huge achievements in a short space of time! Well done Ali!!!
