We will be helping David Lock collect items for his soon to be trip out to an Orphanage in Ukraine, if you have anything on the list that you can spare please do ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, * latest I can drop items off to David it 10th January *

So we maybe parked up at the mo but a few things going on behind the scenes. Mainly Mark having gone fruit the loop on buying stuff from marketplace doing it up and selling on in order to fund some things, almost thinking of having Trotters Independent put on the van. So some of the profit made from selling stuff has been funding items needed for newly arrived familes in the area from Ukraine. Also we have started to sponsor a family in Afgan. After seeing a report by a news correspondence in Kabul it feature a father who had 3 sons all under 12 yrs old . The father was out all day working but due to shortages and inflation he was now only able to buy stale bread for his sons which was usually only feed to livestock. The report went on to say at times the father could mix some onion and tomato with the bread to make it less stale to eat but he was thinking maybe the older of the 3 children would have to come out of school to help him earn more . We contacted the news reporter and after some back and forth messages we will be sending out a set amount each month so the 3 boys can remain at school. It is not huge sums but enough to help the family keep their head above water and their dignity. Its only 3 boys but its 3 that will be able to get an education and 3 less that the Taliban will have a hold over , pictued below is the Father receiving first sponsor money

Rate my plate breakfast before air raid sirens , the food in the hotel is fantastic. As can be seen, the only problem I had was after getting my friend eggs and ham at the buffet I said to the other half of the team Kevin Sweeney whats that , he said says cabbage roll here and potato cakes . So I added some of both got my ketchup on the side and got stuck in , only to find I can't see for s**t kevin was reading the labels for food further along , while I'm taking a mouthful of Fried egg , apple strudel roll and sweet cheesecake with a good dunk of ketchup . The Ukrainians sat around must of been thinking , look at that English fool eating eggs and apple pie with ketchup . But it wasnt going to beat me I finished my plate.

Our Story

The Yellow Peril started her life as a mini bus for a church group, she was then taken over by Jacob and friends and used to tour with the boys (& girls), transporting them from town to town & country to country (mainly Wales to England).

In 2019 she was taken over my Mark and moved down to Chichester in West Sussex in order to be the transport to take food and clothing to refugee children abroad.

After a small refurb and lick of new yellow paint she carried out her first trip driving from the UK to Athens in Greece and back again. Over the winter period of 2019 and into the New year she will be doing short trips over to the Calais and Dunkirk area of France.
