🚨 Business Development Manager (BDM) 🚨

Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where every decision counts?

SJ Logistics is seeking a business development manager to join our growing team. In this role, you won’t just be selling a service—you’ll be delivering critical solutions to businesses that depend on immediate, time-sensitive transport.

You’ll work with high-volume shippers, manage urgent “hot” leads, and ensure our clients’ most time-critical shipments are executed with precision and confidence.

📦 Key Responsibilities:

- Proactive Prospecting
Identify and onboard new clients across industries that rely on emergency or time-critical freight, including Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Print/Media.

-Relationship Management
Develop trusted, long-term partnerships with clients so SJ Logistics becomes their first call for all urgent transport needs.

-Market Intelligence
Stay informed on capacity trends and competitor pricing to keep our same-day offering competitive and market-leading.

-Performance Delivery
Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets.

📦 What We’re Looking For:
-Confidence and resilience when making high-volume outbound sales calls

-Experience in transport, freight forwarding, or courier sales is preferred—but not essential for the right attitude and drive

-Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly in high-pressure, “line-down” situations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

The votes for the Employee of 2025 are all in and counted

The results were closer than expected and while many praised the great attitude of Shane, some also said Golden Balls (Josh) the sales Director was ok.

Number 1 driver Dean also received many Votes, but the eventual winner was the hard working office manager Maggie
