This realistically means that you cannot travel 2 medium - large🐴🐴 together. Our Horseboxes may be stalled for 2, but more often than not you will not be able to travel 2 together (unless you have a couple of small ponies! 🦄 🦄 )

An overloaded horsebox can affect braking, steering, stability and handling, increasing the risk to you, your horse and other road users. You could also face a DVSA roadside check, a fine of up to £300, and an immediate prohibition preventing you from continuing your journey until the excess weight is removed.

We do have 2 Horseboxes available for hire from our Esher Branch and 1 Horsebox available from our Woldingham Branch, so we can still accommodate multiple horses!

There’s so much more to choosing a Horsebox than how it looks or how big the payload is.

Experienced Sharer/Loaner wanted for Stakks.

Stakks is a 16.2, 18 y/o, Oldenburg, ex Showjumper.
Stakks has the MOST beautifully kind temperament (thinks he’s a dog!) He absolutely loves people and loves to be fussed over for hours and hours.

Due to arthritic issues he can no longer jump too much, so he’s looking for someone who primarily wants to hack and do some light schooling and light jumping. He’s not the biggest fan of flat work so wouldn’t suit someone looking to do Dressage activities.

90% of the time Stakks is incredibly laid back to ride. However, there is 10% of the time that he remembers he’s a big, powerful SJ horse, at which time he can be incredibly sharp! Due to this, he would not be suitable for a Novice rider.

Stakks would be an ideal suit for someone who maybe used to ride competitively, but now doesn’t necessarily have the time for that, but would still like a nice, sporty type horse to ride and fuss over.

Looking for a sharer, with view to potentially loan.

☀️🚛 Advice on Travelling Horses in the Heat! 🥵

It is illegal here in the U.K. for Commercial Horse Transporters to transport Horses above 30 degrees. Please bear this in mind when transporting your own Horses. If hiring at this time, please only transport your Horse very early morning, or late evening, once temperatures have dropped.
