Can we just remind Customers that the unfurling of sails whilst your vessel is still in the cradle, on the hard, is absolutely unacceptable and not permitted.

POLITE NOTICE TO ALL BOATYARD USERS

It has been brought to our attention that waste oil, oil products and oil filters have been put into the skip which we kindly supply for our Customers. This is unacceptable behaviour. It causes a hazard both to the Yard and to the Contractor picking up the skips, and cannot be tolerated. We provide a waste oil stillage which can be used to empty out your waste oil and oil from the filters but the actual filters themselves must be disposed of off site. Fortunately for us we do have cameras trained on the skip and have identified several parties who will be contacted in due course. We try very hard to make our Yard user friendly and we do not take kindly to equipment misuse in this way. Please be mindful of us and others.

Ahoy Mateys!β›΅οΈπŸš€πŸ›Ÿβš“οΈ

Well, its that time of year again when our minds turn to festivities, frolics (for those who can still frolic!) and fun!πŸŽ‰πŸ₯³πŸ€ͺπŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸŽ…

A big welcome aboard to all our new Customers who joined us this year and who have help extend our Boatyard Family – we hope you’ve found your forever seasonal home with us now!🏠

To all our existing Customers, thank you for returning and entrusting your prize possessions to us for another season – you know it makes sense!πŸ₯°

Admin will be bowing out gracefully on Friday 19th Dec at 2pm and will roll back on 6th Jan 2026! So, anyone requiring electricity top ups or proffering payments, is advised to act promptly, as although there will be a presence in the yard over the festive period its better to be prepared!πŸ™‚

Phones will be manned 24/7 for emergencies and the Admin asks not to call late on Christmas Day/Night when the sherry trifle has been scoffed- unless its life or limb! πŸ€ͺ

Last, but not least, as always, we want to thank each and every one of our Customers for your loyal support again this year. We appreciate you have the choice of many other establishments up and down the Clyde, but we like to believe that the atmosphere we create here at Clyde Boatyard makes us that wee bit more special than the rest. πŸ˜‰

We also remember the ones we lost along the way this year and to them we will raise a glass. πŸ₯Ή πŸ₯‚

We know we have the best Customers and each and every year you prove us right – Our Boatyard Family is first class! πŸ’ͺπŸ₯‡

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Peaceful New Year

Keith, William and all their OWLS!

UPDATE

Repairs have been completed and the power is back on folks! Thanks for your patience and understanding

πŸ’ͺπŸ˜ƒ

Deja vu Mateys!

Important Information.

Due to some essential electrical repairs being carried out tomorrow Friday 21st November, the power supply to the Boatyard will be off for most, if not all, of the day.
Whilst the yard will be open, the admin section will be toasty at home but contactable by email and phone.
If you have anything plugged in on your vessel which might be sensitive to any power surges we suggest you switch them off in preparation.
Our Yard Crew will be on hand for any questions and of course will be their usual helpful and cheery selves!
We apologise for this interruption in service, however it really is beyond our control.
We will update as and when

‼️STORM EOWYN‼️

Storm Eowyn is on its way!
Definitely looking like a day for yer big jaicket!
The storm has been upgraded to a Red Warning for tomorrow throughout the day until 1700hrs

Boatyard staff will be onsite all day and we would ask customers do not attend unless absolutely essential.
We would ask that owners with vessels ashore check covers and furlers etc and those afloat check mooring ropes and fenders today where possible.
