“Pacifist” Quarter Tonner refit

A full cosmetic overhaul was carried out, together with several deck modifications and a keel extension.

The boat was stripped back in its entirety, with selected fittings repositioned and additional jib tracks installed. To compensate for the weight reduction from the new rig, 30kg was added to the keel.

The whole vessel was then primed in Durepox. Below the waterline, the hull was finished to a polished race standard, while the topsides, cockpit, and coachroof were completed in Awlcraft 3000.

Cape 31 “K2” respray. We sorted a couple of damaged areas from impacts on both sides of this Cape 31 and then painted it in Alwcraft SE “Shark grey” and Alwcraft 3000 clearcoat

A dash of red to this absolute titan of the sea “Tschuss”! Keel bulb and rudders faired and painted in Durepox red then wet sanded and polished to a high gloss finish ✨

Over the past 12 weeks, we’ve been busier than ever preparing for the Admiral’s Cup. We’ve had the privilege of working on 10 of the competing boats—fairing, painting, and finishing 9 keels, painting countless booms, rudders, and components, and polishing and waxing thousands of square meters of hulls.

It’s been an intense period of hard work, with long days, late evenings, weekends, and more than a few missed social events. I couldn’t be prouder of my team, who have stepped up and worked tirelessly to ensure every job was completed on time and to the highest standard.

The collaboration across all teams has been phenomenal—helping hands, shared coffees, ice creams, and an incredible team spirit throughout.
