It’s not just our harbour we like to keep in good shape — we like to look after our people too! ⚓️

A huge thank you to the fantastic team at Lighthouse Clinic for visiting Cowes Harbour Commission and providing skin checks for our staff.

It was a wonderful service from start to finish — friendly, professional and informative, giving our team the chance to take a little time out and focus on their own wellbeing.

Thank you for looking after our crew! 👏💙

Last week, some of our Lighthouse Clinic team visited Cowes Harbour Commission at the Harbour Office, Town Quay, to provide skin checks for members of staff.

Taking skin checks directly into the workplace gives people the opportunity to have their skin checked in a familiar environment, while also encouraging people to be more aware of their own skin and any changes they may notice.

Early awareness can make a real difference, which is why we’re proud to support local businesses and organisations with accessible skin health checks across the Isle of Wight.

⛽ Fuel Berth Opening Late Today

Please note that the Cowes Harbour Commission Fuel Berth will be opening later than usual today due to a scheduled fuel delivery.

The beautiful Morgenster sailed into Cowes over the weekend and is now moored at Trinity Landing for a few nights.

With her impressive masts and unmistakable tall-ship character, she certainly adds something special to the Cowes waterfront! ✨

🏁 COWES IS READY TO ROAR! 🚤💨

Get ready for a weekend of speed, power and adrenaline as the GoGPS Cowes International Powerboat Festival returns to Cowes from 28–30 August, celebrating an incredible 65 years of offshore powerboat racing! 🎉

Hosted by the British Powerboat Racing Club, the festival culminates on Sunday with the legendary Cowes–Torquay–Cowes and Cowes–Poole–Cowes races.

👀 Want to see the boats up close? Head to Cowes Yacht Haven on Saturday to see the racing fleet before they take to the water.

Then, on Sunday morning, get ready for the roar of the engines as racing gets underway from around 10am! 🔥

With incredible boats, huge speeds and a race steeped in history, this is one August Bank Holiday spectacle you won't want to miss! 🏁🌊
