🇮🇪 CREW PRESENTATION OFFSHORE DOUBLE HANDED WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Join us as we introduce the crews of the ODHWC 2026, which will take place from 23 September to 2 October 2026 in Marseille hosted by the CNTL.
This is one of the few world titles in sport decided by mixed teams. One woman, one man, racing together offshore. Every crew gets the same boat, a Sun Fast 30 One Design, supplied and measured identical by Cap Regatta. No equipment advantage, nothing to hide behind.
Ireland is next on the line.
Richard Bretherton and Inka Luhrs both race with the Royal Ocean Racing Club, under Irish Sailing. They took the class win in the RCYC Celtic Triangle Race, crossing the Celtic Sea two handed. From the Celtic Sea to the Mediterranean, on a one design where the only variable left is the pair sailing it.
We asked them what would make the difference here.
