🧁 Sweet treats for a great cause!

Yesterday, our team came together, along with MCR Services and Heathline Commercials Ltd for a charity bake sale in support of Core Foundations , in recognition of World Homeless Day which was on Saturday 10th October.

Core Foundations are an amazing North East Charity which was founded to help address the problem of homelessness in the North East.

A big thank you to everyone who baked, bought a treat or donated, we’re very grateful for your support! 💙

One from the archives 📸

This photo features the late Alan Moody, attending a MOTEC 1 course at High Ercall, which was being used at the time by the Road Transport Industry Training Board.

MOTEC 1 ran courses specifically for Road Haulage Managers, covering a wide range of subjects such as costing, accounts and management and as Alan was developing his role within the business, it was a great opportunity for him to learn.

Even all these years later, those traits still stick at Moody's today, as we encourage our whole team to further their skill set and continue learning and developing throughout their career.

One of our wagons was spotted at the RVI Hospital in Newcastle recently 📍

Our distinctive red trucks travel across the North East and beyond every day delivering for our customers, you never know where you might spot one next.

Some of you might recognise Matthew, who as well as heading up production and warehouse in our sister company MCR Services, is also Moody's Warehouse Manager.

Congratulations, Connor 👏🚛

We're delighted to celebrate a fantastic achievement for Connor, who has officially passed his CE licence!

Connor started his journey with Moody Logistics working in our warehouse before taking the next step and joining our driver apprenticeship scheme. Since then, he's worked hard to develop his skills and progress his career and now he's qualified to drive Class 1 vehicles.

It's great to see another member of our team progressing through the business and making the most of the opportunities available through our apprenticeship programme!

Family has always been at the heart of Moody Logistics and now we're proud to welcome the fourth generation to the team 👏

Some of you may recognise Charlotte Wilkinson, who has spent the past 6 months learning the ropes and supporting our sales and marketing teams. We're delighted that she has now officially joined the family business as our new Business Development Manager.

As we look ahead to our 80th anniversary in 2027, it's especially meaningful to see another generation become part of the Moody's story.
