What a fantastic day we’ve had at our work cake sale!
Thanks to everyone’s amazing baking skills and generosity, we raised an incredible £564! From delicious cakes to tasty treats, everything looked (and tasted!) absolutely brilliant.
A huge thank you to the team at CUTP for their help in organising the day and spreading the word, and to everyone who took the time to bake, donate, and support — it really made the day so successful. It was such a lovely atmosphere and a great sense of achievement to raise so much money towards our total.

What a day at the National Transition Event at Silverstone, from Mission Motorsport!

Earlier this week, Go Service Solutions attended one of the UK's leading events supporting ex-military personnel as they explore their next career move, and it didn't disappoint.

We had some really honest, open conversations with people who've built incredible experience in operations, supply chain, fleet management and people management during their time in the forces. For some, the big question was what comes first after leaving - being closer to home or more time with family. For others, building a commercial career was the clear goal.

Whatever stage people were at, it was great to sit down and talk through the options, whether that’s starting out as a driver, working more independently, or progressing into operational and leadership roles over time.

We also connected with other businesses exhibiting on the day, and logistics professionals who have already made the transition. The conversations kept coming back to the same point: The skills that come out of military service are genuinely exceptional. The technical knowledge, operational discipline and ability to lead people aren’t things you can easily teach, and more businesses should recognise that.

Being in the garage right next to the pit lane made for a pretty memorable setting, too. The queue for the track experience was non-stop all day, and watching the cars go out never got old.

Big news from the Go Service Solutions team in Edinburgh!

On Saturday, we officially launched our new installation service in Scotland, adding to our existing UK distribution hubs. The team will be delivering and installing larger items in homes and offices - such as furniture, white goods, TVs, garden furniture, and exercise equipment - and we cannot praise them enough for the intense training schedule and quick implementation that made this happen.

We currently work with a range of retailers and directly with consumers who need individual support with installs. So, if you're looking for a reliable two-man delivery and/or installation service to support your organisation, we’ve got you covered.

When service men and women leave the forces, they bring with them a wealth of skills and experience that translate remarkably well into some civilian careers, and ex-service personnel are ideally suited to logistics roles, where the alignment between military experience and the skills required is stronger than many realise.

Our drivers and the teams in the office who bring it all together are what make it happen, sometimes under extreme pressure.

A growing area of our business is the installation of bulky items in homes. As well as large kitchen appliances, furniture and exercise equipment, we've also had a busy summer installing barbecues and sheds.
