Hey floaty folk, just letting you know that I'm running away for a break from tomorrow to the 13th. This means I won't be around for breakdowns next week. The treatment rooms will be open as normal though, with my motley crew doing things when the coffee mugs are empty. This 1998 44' Evans and Sons semi trad narrowboat. BMC 1.5 engine, Boat Safety till November 2027. Forward cratch cover and stern pram cover. 12v and 240v electrics. Recent very large stainless watertank fitted and recent steel lockers made and fitted to stern. Large fold down bed that could be left down if you wanted to create a very comfortable bedroom. Solar panels fitted. Solid fuel stove and diesel fired central heating to keep you toasty on those chilly days and nights. Cabin side doors to open on those lovely warm summer days. A couple of recent steel jobs to a boat in the treatment room. Low down gas vents were always below water level and corroded away the bottom half of the cylinder locker. The top half wasn't great either due to the age of the boat. We cut it all out, put a new raised floor in place and let in a new section on the outside. The same boat had bad corrosion around the almost non existent vent for the Lister ducting so we cut it out and made a new grill and fitted it in.

Just checking the decks are clear for me before I change a bank of batteries!
