Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Mid-Devon
Parkway Taxis is a friendly, family-run private hire company, and we’re looking for reliable and professional drivers to join our team.
We usually operate daytime hours. Overtime is voluntary. As a rule we are closed at weekends, sometimes we do have exceptions but this is rare - availability to cover is always checked before accepting bookings. We can guarantee no waiting around on taxi ranks.
What We Do:
We specialise in pre-booked contract private hire work, focusing on scheduled transport and community journeys. We do not operate late-night pub or club collections, as our service is centred around daytime contract and pre-arranged travel.

(including school transport and hospital journeys)
➡️Local private hire fares
➡️Long-distance journeys
All work is pre-booked private hire, meaning structured and organised days - planned out the day before - with no rank waiting.
What We Offer:
✔️ 35 hours per week (contracted)
✔️ £25,480 per year (salaried position)
✔️ 28 days paid holiday per year

This is a stable, salaried role within a supportive, family-run business where reliability and customer care matter.
Requirements:
Professional, punctual and courteous
Comfortable working with school children and hospital passengers
Must obtain a Private Hire Driver Licence from Mid Devon District Council. We are happy to discuss the licensing process with suitable applicants.
