It's been a long but incredibly worthwhile day picking up the new Matt East Equine Transport work horse!! I've changed things up with this one and I can't wait to share it properly but I think it deserves some proper photos in the sunshine to really show off the beautiful paint job and finishing touches that have been so carefully thought out👌 so for now, let's have your best guesses 😆 colour? Make? What do we think?

Last garage trip for a full inspection and a final deep clean inside and out for this wonderful horsebox before it heads off to pastures new! I am just as excited as a child on Christmas Eve as tomorrow I get to drive my new horsebox home, I cant wait to share it with you all 😁😁

We’ve decided to implement a new charging system on a “pay per poo” basis.
Poos left behind on the lorry will be graded according to their colour and the greener they are, the more I’ll be charging 🤣 for example, anything in the same colour spectrum as the second photo (which I’m going to refer to as Radioactive Green) will incur a fairly hefty charge 😂
I love the spring grass but I can’t say I love the smell of it when it comes out the other end 😂

Donkeys are some of my favourite passengers and the lady who gifted me this amazing, hand painted Highland cow picture might just be my new favourite client 😆 Eeyore and Martha were incredibly well behaved on their journey to their new family home and it was an absolute pleasure to have them on board! As a thank you, the lovely Anne gifted me this painting which she had done herself and I absolutely love it! Its hanging up in our house and makes us smile every time we see it!

With the weather warming up and competition season in full swing, some lorries find this the perfect opportunity to inconvenience their owners and break down! As stressful as it can be, having the correct cover in place means that vehicle breakdown recovery is more likely to be quick and simple to organise should you need it!
I've had the pleasure of working on behalf of ERS (Equine Rescue Service) for quite some time now and most recently had the pleasure of getting these two horses safely home alongside Anton from 😊

As much as I'd have liked to turn left and end up at Hawkstone Brewery, I thought I should probably do my job and drop off the lovely Chocolate who travelled with me from Norfolk to Gloucestershire 😁

I've been transporting horses for 14 years and, as you can imagine, there have been some emotional moments, but the journey i completed on Monday was one I don't think I'll ever forget.
I was asked to help facilitate an incredibly poignant moment between a much loved pony and her prior owner who, at absolutely no age at all, was in hospice care and very keen to see her old pony one last time. As some of you may know, we've recently had a close family bereavement ourselves, so this really hit close to home and it was both an honour to be able to help and very sad and thought provoking at the same time.
One thing that really stood out to me was the amount of love and positivity that her family and friends had, even in what must be the darkest of times for them all, and I'm grateful I could be a part of helping them, even if it was in the smallest of ways.
